Overview

Rulerr relies on integrations in order to import data into Rulerr Analytics, Rulerr Access and Rulerr Audit Log for analysis. Instructions on setting up each Integration and also information on what data is accessed and imported into Rulerr can be found below.


Office 365 OneDrive

The Office 365 OneDrive Integration requires an Administrator of your Office 365 Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Instructions

  1. Click the "Add product" button to display the Microsoft consent screen.
  2. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  3. Click "Accept" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.

Data Retrieved

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts and which files and folders the account has access to. If an account does not have access to any files or folders in OneDrive, the account will be set to disabled.


Office 365 Mailboxes

The Office 365 Mailboxes Integration requires an Administrator of your Office 365 Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Instructions

  1. Click the "Add product" button to display the Microsoft consent screen.
  2. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  3. Click "Accept" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.

Data Retrieved

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts, as well as the email folders each account has access to. Each folder inside an email account is shown including folders shared to it from other email accounts. Shared contacts unfortunately cannot be retrieved as Microsoft do not provide this ability.


Office 365 Calendars

The Office 365 Calendars Integration requires an Administrator of your Office 365 Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Instructions

  1. Click the "Add product" button to display the Microsoft consent screen.
  2. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  3. Click "Accept" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.

Data Retrieved

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts, as well as the calendars each account has access to.


Office 365 Dynamics

The Office 365 Dynamics Integration requires an Administrator of your Office 365 Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Instructions

  1. Click the "Add product" button to display the Microsoft consent screen.
  2. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  3. Click "Accept" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.

Data Retrieved

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts and which applications within Dynamics that the account has access to. Unfortunately due to the way that the data is presented to Rulerr, only those permissions which are assigned directly to Dynamics users will be inserted into Rulerr. If an application has "organization wide" access, this data will not appear inside Rulerr.


Google Drive

The Google Drive Integration requires an Administrator of your GSuite Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Instructions

  1. As the Administrator of your GSuite domain, install the Google Drive Integration from the Google Marketplace
  2. Return to Rulerr, and click the "Add product" button to display the Google consent screen.
  3. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  4. Click "Allow" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.

Data Retrieved

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts and which files and folders the account has access to. As well as this data, this integration will also retrieve Events from Google Drive (please note this feature is only available to customers with a GSuite Business account).


Google Mail

The Google Mail Integration requires an Administrator of your GSuite Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Instructions

  1. As the Administrator of your GSuite domain, install the Google Mail Integration from the Google Marketplace
  2. Return to Rulerr, and click the "Add product" button to display the Google consent screen.
  3. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  4. Click "Allow" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.

Data Retrieved

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts and which email addresses the account has permissions to send email as. Unfortunately both "delegated access" and "shared contacts" cannot be retrieved as there is no ability to retrieve that information from Google.


Google Calendars

The Google Calendars Integration requires an Administrator of your GSuite Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Instructions

  1. As the Administrator of your GSuite domain, install the Google Calendars Integration from the Google Marketplace
  2. Return to Rulerr, and click the "Add product" button to display the Google consent screen.
  3. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  4. Click "Allow" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.

Data Retrieved

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts and which calendars the account has access to.


Salesforce

The Salesforce Integration requires an Administrator of your Salesforce Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Available Editions

Please note that the following editions of Salesforce have the Salesforce API enabled by default. If you are not using one of these editions, please contact your Salesforce representative to have the Salesforce API enabled:

  1. Enterprise Edition
  2. Unlimited Edition
  3. Developer Edition
  4. Performance Edition

Instructions

  1. Click the "Add product" button to display the Salesforce login screen.
  2. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. Access will then be granted for Rulerr to access your data.

Data Retrieved

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts and which Salesforce applications the account has access to. This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts and which Salesforce profile the account is allocated. To determine what applications are linked to a profile please log into Salesforce as an Administrator and navigate to profile management.


Dropbox

The Dropbox Integration requires an Administrator of your Dropbox Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

Instructions

  1. Click the "Add product" button to display the Dropbox consent screen.
  2. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  3. Click "Allow" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.

This Integration will retrieve a list of your Organization's accounts and which files and folders the account has access to.


Slack

The Slack Integration requires an Administrator of your Slack Organization to grant consent for Rulerr to access your data.

  2. Enter your Organization's Administrator account details and log in. You will then be shown the data that Rulerr requires access to.
  3. Click "Allow" to grant Rulerr access to the relevant data.
