Overview

Dashboard is your personal page in Rulerr. Dashboard allows you to do a number of things:

  1. View your notifications
  2. Access your software
  3. Request access to software
  4. Edit your personal details
  5. Change the look of Rulerr

Dashboard has two modes, Notifications and Access Privileges. You can switch between both modes by clicking the yellow/gold button on the top right hand corner of your Dashboard.


View your notifications

Notifications are sent to you for a number of reasons. The types of notifications you are sent is based on your Role within Rulerr:

  1. Access granted
  2. Access change request response
  3. Access change request
  4. Analytics event
  5. Product is integrated

Access Granted

If you are given access to a Product, Rulerr will send you a notification so you know about it.

If you wish to no longer see the notification, you can hide it.

Access change request - response

If you have requested an access change, it will need to be actioned by someone else in your organization. They may approve your request, deny it or request more clarification. You will be able to reply to this notification (the reply will be sent to the Product Expert or Access Approver) or hide the notification.

Access change request

If you are an Access Approver, Rulerr will notify you of any access change requests from people within your organization. If you are a Product Expert access change requests will show in your Dashboard and the Requests section of the Access page

You will have the following response options:

  1. Approve/Done
  2. Deny
  3. More clarification

If you wish to no longer see the notification, you can hide it.

Analytics event

Analytics will send you notifications when it detects events of interest to you.

If you wish to no longer see the notification, you can hide it.

Product is integrated

If you are a Monarch or Product Expert, you will be notified when a product becomes integrated with Rulerr. This will allow you to change your product from Manual to Integrated.

If you wish to no longer see the notification, you can hide it.

Hide notification

To hide a notification:

  1. click the bell icon at the top of Rulerr Dashboard
  2. on the notification you want to hide, click the x
  3. the notification will be hidden

Unhide notification

To unhide a notification:

  1. click the bell icon at the top of Rulerr Dashboard
  2. click the button that says active and select all
  3. on the notification you want to unhide, click the x
  4. the notification will be unhidden

View all notifications

If you wish to view hidden notifications, click the button that says active and select all.

Search notifications

If you wish to search notifications, type what you are looking for in the search bar. Rulerr will start searching as soon as you type.


Access your software

To view the software you have access to and the software you can request access to, click the yellow/gold dropdown/button on the right hand side of your Dashboard and select "Your Access".

Products with a green corner (and cog icon) are products you currently have access to. Products with a red corner (and lock icon) are products you currently do not have access to but can request access to.


Request access

To request access to products you are unable to access or change your access to products, click the cog or padlock icon on the product. A pop-up will show, allowing you to request access. This request will be sent to someone in your organization who is able to approve access change requests.


Request access for others

If you have been given the Helpdesk Role you will be able to create access change requests for others. The Helpdesk Role was created to allow people within your organization to call a helpdesk and have others request access for them. To create requests for others:

  1. click on the cog or padlock icon on the product you wish to request access to
  2. search for the person in the name field
  3. select the product they would like to change their access to
  4. write what access changes the person would like
  5. click save

The access change request will be sent to a Product Expert or Access Approver so they can review the request and action it.


Manage others access

If you are a Manager, you are able to view and request access changes for the people you manage. If you are a manager the Manage option will show on your Dashboard.

You can change this page so it shows you a list of the groups you manage or a list of people in the groups you manage.


Edit your personal details

You can edit your personal details by clicking the 3 horizonal lines next to your name (in the top right hand corner of the screen) and selecting the


Change the look of Rulerr

Rulerr offers two color options that you can change at any time and on any page within Rulerr, not just Dashboard. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see two buttons, "Black" and "White". Select either of these options and the color of Rulerr will instantly change.
